Dane Co. Executive Joe Parisi will hold a series of listening sessions in September on his 2014 budget proposal.
The meetings are meant to allow residents to provide input.
According to Parisi's office, the cost of running county government will be $7.5 million more in 2014 than this year.
One of the listening sessions will be done jointly with the Dane County Board and focus primarily on the proposed human services budget. Human services account for nearly 50% of Dane County’s over $500 million budget.
Here are the session dates:
Wednesday, September 18th
5pm – 6:30pm
Oregon Village Hall
117 Spring Street
The County Executive plans to complete his 2014 budget proposal to introduce it by October 1st.
